2019 Essence Festival
Come celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essence Fest by volunteering for the Donate Life Louisiana booth in the expo. This is our 16th year at the festival. Our staff and volunteers work for all three days to help further public education on organ, tissue and eye donation along with helping new members join the registry. This month our volunteer GUMBO Gathering rolls into Lafayette to help support Organ Donor Awareness Weekend at the UL Girls Softball game on Friday April 5, 2019!We want YOU to join us as we cheer on the Cajuns and help provide education on organ, tissue and eye donation. While the game starts at 6 p.m., all donor families, recipients and those on the waiting list will be recognized on the field during the pre-game activities.
